Wicked Beetle
One really good thing about being in Second Life® for as long as I have (or even longer) is that you accumulate some really cool items in your inventory that sort of just sit in there until an opportunity comes along when you can put them to good use. My shoes in today’s post, from Shoenique, are just one of those things. I can’t even tell you how long I’ve owned them but I’d never worn them until now. I never forgot I had them, though, and when I saw the Beetle jumper from Katat0nik at some event, I knew the shoes would be a perfect contrast with it.
One thing you can’t do in Second Life® is become stagnant no matter how long you’ve been a resident. You can’t just sit and wait around like some object in your inventory. This is especially true for those of us in the SL modeling community, whether you’re starting out as a model or you’ve been modeling for years, like I have. Everyday you should learn or try something new! I tried my hand at hair painting with today’s blog post picture and I think it came out okay. The more I do it, the better I’ll get (I hope). But again, I’ve tried something new and ventured into territory that has been a bit daunting for me in the past. Don’t be afraid to do the same, especially as the weekend rolls around and you have some extra time to devote to something you’ve been wanting to learn. At least try to do it after you’ve been to see the new Star Wars movie, lol. No matter what you do this weekend, have a good one and thanks for joining me on my blog today. ♥
