Lolita

Has anyone ever seen the original movie “Lolita”?  I finally watched it last month when it was on one of my favorite TV stations – TCM.  The original was made in 1962 and all the while I was watching it I kept thinking of how different things were back then compared to now and how things that were once (almost) acceptable are absolutely not acceptable today.  The movie was quite long and I was a bit disappointed with how the movie ended but that’s for another post some day.

I proudly teach a blogging class at SCALA™ Models Academy and as with any class, the students have homework.  One of the themes for this round was ‘sex sells’ and it was so great to see everyone’s interpretation of the theme.  I always figure that since I’m teaching the class that I should at least participate in one of the themes so here’s my interpretation wearing Malena Von Dash‘s new corset “Lolita”.  (Seriously, who better to wear than MVD when we’re dealing with sex?)  I ended up finishing my post after the class was over because I’ve been lamenting over the photo which I thought would come out a little better better than it did.  Nevertheless, I hope you can still get a good look at the gorgeous corset and new hair from Vanity Hair.
