You don’t need a time machine if you have a camera

I knew something was up a few weeks ago when I was notified by Flickr via email that someone faved a very old picture of mine. (You can see the picture here.)  The name looked familiar and as soon as I saw the picture she faved, I remembered exactly who she was.  Alair Cortes is the creator/owner of Pocket Mirrors which sold hairstyles (and I even have some poses) way back when.  Some of the hairstyles were super creative as you can see from that picture on my Flickr stream.  In the next day or two after that email, I received a notecard in-world from Alair informing me that she was re-establishing the brand, which made me very happy.

Alair was going to be creating makeup for the Lelutka EvoX mesh heads and selling them on the Marketplace and IF that went well, she mentioned she might get back into creating hairstyles once again. She asked if I’d help “get the word out” and she was kind enough to send me a few makeups of my choosing to blog.  In the pic below you can see the detail of the Siren Eyes shadow/liner on my upper lid.  I can’t wait to see more from Alair and I wish her the best of luck with her product line.  Whatever I can do to help, I will, because it’s so important to support great designers who come back to SL after a long absence to make our SLives a better place.
