Raging Redhead

Okay, so I’m not a bull nor a cow so I opted for Redhead instead. Get it? Raging Bull?  The movie?  Robert De Niro?  Nevermind. lol 🙂

On to more fashion related things lol. On December 1, 2012 Redgrave introduced liquid mesh jeans which will eventually diminish the need for various standard sizing in mesh clothing, at least in Redgrave’s world. You can read more about liquid mesh here. Instead of various sizes of clothing the pants come with various alpha masks that you can choose to wear to help the pants fit better. Personally, I wasn’t all that impressed with this new revolution in clothing. Luckily, I have a shape that doesn’t require me to have to alter it very often when I wear mesh clothing. I can either wear size S or M in most cases. So, as I’m checking out these new liquid jeans I’m wondering what exactly is the difference between trying on various sizes of clothing as opposed to various alpha masks to get the clothes to fit. If I’m missing the point here, please feel free to fill me in. On the flip side, I do like these jeans and how they fit especially when sitting down. My knee area looked more realistic when bent them and that’s a plus.

As anyone who knows me, or follows my blog, will tell you, I very rarely wear gowns.  While I think they’re beautiful and elegant, I also think they have their place at weddings, certain events or if you’re planning to go ballroom dancing.   With that being said, when I recently saw a picture of Purple Moon’s Paula Gown, I oooo’ed and ahhh’ed because of the detail put into the top portion of the gown.  As much as I wanted the gown, I knew I didn’t want to wear it as a ‘gown’ but I wanted to integrate the top portion of the dress into something more my style and here it is.   Leather and lace is an old classic that screams femininity and boldness at the same exact time.   Also, to Poulet Koenkamp’s credit, if this had been a mesh gown, I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this look so I send mucho thanks to her.
