Facing forward, but always appreciating the past

Doing this post reminded me how much I miss some of the old pose stores in SL. My two favorite stores were Di’s Opera Poses and Manifeste and I spent many hours in each store when I started to model in SL. I thought that both Di Hoorenbeek and July Raymaker were such talented pose makers and I so miss the excitement I got whenever either one came out with new releases. I’m fortunate in that I probably have most of the poses they ever created along with many other talented pose makers of yesteryear. Inasmuch as I loved those poses, they were mainly for the runway where I spent a lot of my time.  It’s just good to reminisce every so often, isn’t it?

By the way, a few of the items I’m wearing in this post came from the Access Event which ends August 8th so if you see something you like, you only have a few days left to get it!
