Photography is the story I fail to put into words

I’ve been a bit more vocal lately about the lack of clothing and accessories for Belleza GenX bodies so why not bring it up here as well. I’m miffed about it especially because the Belleza GenX bodies, both Classic & Curvy, are really nice looking bodies. Actually, even the old Belleza bodies were really nice and even better quality than the Maitreya Lara, which is like the #1 female mesh body in SL today. I think Legacy and Reborn are a respective #2 and #3 and the GenX bodies could easily move into those two spots if given a chance. I recently chatted with one designer on Facebook and posed the question of why she wasn’t considering making clothing for the Belleza bodies and her reply was that Belleza wasn’t popular enough to rig clothing for it. That’s a shame but I have a feeling her sentiments are shared by many designers.

I recently went to the Belleza Event to stock up on some things I could wear for the GenX body. How crazy is that – that I have to go to an event distinctly for that body to actually be able to wear something for it. Imagine if you had to do that with the Maitreya body. Even when the LaraX came out, there was no issue finding clothing you could wear with it.

Clothing is just one issue. Finding jewelry and even toenail polish for Belleza was a huge chore. I found the polish on MP but not after searching my inventory extensively, visiting some fave stores and even checking the Belleza Flickr group. I opted for an unrigged anklet because I couldn’t find one made for Belleza that I liked. (There aren’t many!) I just don’t get it and I wish someone could explain why it seems that there is a boycott of Belleza.  I’d love to wear my GenX bodies a lot more than I do but the time and energy it takes to find products for it, just makes no sense especially when I want to get a blog post done.
